19.HERE

Where are you right now?

Are you HERE . . . right here? Are you over ‘there’, in ‘the past’ or ‘the future’ . . . somewhere out ‘there’?

Without judgement, just notice where you are.

Everyday, every moment, we have the opportunity to be here . . . To bring our FULL presence to where we are, to those we are with, and to what it is that we are engaged in in this very moment…………… And in each moment, as we bring our full attention, we have the privilege of giving ourselves, and giving others our undivided, unconditional presence. HERE and Now.

It’s ‘easy’ to be distracted. It’s ‘easy’ not to notice for hours and hours that you’re lost in the land of thoughts. It’s ‘easy’ to have conversations in the future, or even in the past, that aren’t right here. It’s ‘easy’ to be doing things in a future that hasn’t arrived, and that never really does arrive because it never really can arrive. And it’s ‘easy’ to mull over and over, and become consumed by times and details that are just not here.

It seems ‘easy’, and yet it’s exhausting. It seems ‘easy’, and yet it’s overwhelming.

When we are constantly flitting around out ‘there’, always distracted, and forever rushing to a different place in our minds . . . when we are ‘there’, we are never really here. And here is where we actually only ever always can be and areHere is where life ISHere is where you truly meet one another. Here is where you meet your Self. There is only ever always HERE.

In all the rushing to get somewhere, pause long enough to ask yourself “what is the rush to get here?“. In all the whirlwind of distraction, catch yourself long enough to ask “and why not here?“. And in the midst of daydreaming, stop for long enough to remind yourself “HERE… its all here“.Where, or what, is more important than here?

THIS hand. THIS air. THESE feet. THIS ground. THIS Being.

Pause a moment. Close your eyes. Place your hand on your heart. And welcome yourself back to here. Give yourself and give others, your full, undivided, unconditional, and curious presence.

Here remember. It’s simply here.

Here is where you arealways were, and always will be.
