IN WILD APPRECIATION.

50.IN_WILD_APPRECIATION

Can we pause for a moment, and feel an honest wild appreciation for all that IS?? And not just for the things that seem easy to appreciate ……….. but for ALL of it?

– Pause the “if onlys…” that delay appreciation for another time …

– Pause the story that believes appreciation is only possible when it is ALL just so, when it is ALL just ‘perfect’

– Pause any recoil response that erupts around the word gratitude, pigeon-holing it alongside ‘rose-tinted‘ and ‘happy-clappy‘ …

– And pause the thought that comes to mind, speaking “it’s easier said then done” …

I hear you.

See, if even for just a moment, if you can pause the interruptions and look anew.

Instead of dismissing THIS NOW in place of wanting things to look different, wanting things to somehow be different, can we embrace it ALL? … All that seems messy, all that seems uncomfortable. All that seems raw, all that seems unknown. All that seems unsettling, all that seems discombobulated. All that seems clear, all that seems at peace. All that seems open, all that seems just joyously so. All that trusts, and all that is In Love. Can we pause making some of it right, and some of it wrong, and can we instead embrace it all in the arms of WILD APPRECIATION?

Instead of demanding that others meet the rigid form of our preconceived expectations, can we delight in the way others choose to show up? The uniqueness of their voice. The uniqueness of their support. The uniqueness of their finesse. The uniqueness of their presence. Their unique expression of Love. Their unique expression of Being. Can we delight in it ALL, and welcome it all IN WILD APPRECIATION?

Instead of delaying the moment of appreciation, waiting until the ____  arrives (fill in the missing blank), can we really appreciate all that IS right now? Whatever we perceive to be missing, IS here, we are just not choosing to see it, we are just not allowing ourselves to see it. It may not be immediately recognisable – differing from the hardened image of the way we feel it ‘should‘ be, the way we feel it ‘ought‘ to be ……… but can we soften and SEE, that whatever we perceive to be missing IS here … in its own form … right now. The missing blank is not missing (the home, the support, the challenge, the space, the freedom, the relationship, the health, the wealth) … it is just being expressed differently in this moment, that’s allSee WHAT IS, and then wildly appreciate it MORE.

And instead of jumping in with resistant auto-pilot criticisms, or placing limiting conditions around what we are grateful for, can we open our eyes wide, and see just what IS? See more clearly EXACTLY what IS, all parts included? Not through rose-tinted glasses, not in picture perfect postcard-ness … and nor clouded over with the muck of yesterday. Can we pause long enough to see NOW more clearlyevery crevice, every kink … every lump, every bumpevery bend, every cornerAnd can we really feel a WILD APPRECIATION, without condition, for it ALL?

So rest your attention deeply in to WHAT IS.

Clean the lenses of your eyes, without glossing over the perceived ‘discomfort‘, without turning a ‘blind-eye‘, and SEE exactly what is here.

Rest your attention deeply in to WHAT IS … and IN WILD APPRECIATION, allow it to expand.
