25.PEACE_BE

 

Peace — A word that conjures up many differing pictures for us each. Sometimes it seems as though peace is some far off mystical place, out beyond at an unreachable distance that is O but a dream that will never be experienced. Other times it is a colourful place – peace, love, harmony – often though without a deep Knowing of the Peace that we never left.

PEACE is the deepest undercurrent of YOU, when all that is not you has dropped away. You cannot not experience it at times, or many many times, or all the time, however, it is your choice as to whether you allow the seeming layers that are NOT YOU to drop away . . . or not.

 

We all know how it feels to walk around uptight and on edge, feeling so held by the everyday concerns that are limited to our small self, and so seemingly disconnected from the thing that lies behind our own eyes, let alone the eyes of another . . . We all know how this feels, and how each movement we make from this space has an element of chaos, of confusion, or a vibration of noise surrounding it.

When we drop the excess, when we drop ALL that is not usall that need not be held on toit is PEACE that IS. It is peace that we rest in to as the undercurrent feeling of our Selves, nothing lost, only the Infinite remembered. And it is in resting in to this feeling more and more and more that true healing takes place.

As you become ever aware of the feeling of YOU, you allow all the wrinkles and crinkles that are not you to smooth on out. You allow yourself to experience your Being-ness in all of its perfection.

 

You do not have to DO anything, so much as give permission for the UN-DOing.

 

And if this all sounds too happy clappy on first reading, on second reading, on umpteenth time reading . . . just see if you can bring a little curiosity to these words. See if you can feel into the space that IS Peace, the feeling that IS YOU when you allow all that is not you to seemingly fall away.

Remember, You are never not at Peace, it’s just that sometimes it becomes so clouded over, so covered over as more and more is piled ‘on top’, that we almost forget what it feels like to BE at Peace. And yet there is some part of you that these words speak to, some part of you that does remember………….. So even if you dip your toe in just once every blue moon, see if you can sense in to your own unique experience of Peace, and as you do, you will see how all that is not you will very naturallyvery easefullysoften away.

 

It’s a win-win situation — As you soften all that is not you, you will very calmly be at Peace — And as you are at Peace, you will without effort soften all that is not you.

 

Beneath the seeming tensions and concerns of the everyday, lies the undercurrent of perfect, still, clear and calm PeaceThe undercurrent of YOU. Rest in to it again and again and again, and experience your perfect, un-conflicted, Being-ness.

And, before you go on a mission ‘out there’ to find peace, remember that Peace is not a destination . . . there is nowhere to go, nothing to be done. Peace is AS YOU ARE, right NOW, tensions softened

Peace is your natural state of Being in THIS moment.
