All too readily we seem to swerve out in to the traffic of thinking with blind awareness, chasing all that moves, addicted to ‘making it happen‘, endlessly spinning the hamster wheel of doing doing doing without ever pausing to simply see what is really going on.
So pause.
– Where is it that we are going with such splendid speed …………… ?
– What is it that we feel has such urgency that we willingly loose ourselves in the spin …………… ?
Slow down a moment.
Notice what it is that you are doing — Notice where it is that you are Being — Notice all that is here, for THIS, YOU, are life itself.
All this rushing to ‘make life happen‘. All this frenzied feeding of the mouths that seem to shout for attention “what next, what next?” …………………………… And all the while, you are just here.
Listen not to the noise of the monkey mind that will have you jumping from tree to tree, from branch to branch, without ever becoming aware of the simple truth that you are HERE.
Slow down, and lovingly witness all that is here.
Slow down, and meet yourself fully in your own heart.
