Stillness, to be clear, is not flat-lining it – Far from it indeed.
Stillness, is the deepest calm, from which every impulse arises.
Utterly at peace. Wholly centred. Impeccably poised. Present and awake.
Sometimes our minds feel like the turbulent waters of an ocean.
A million and ten distractions, pulling in every which direction. A continual flitting, from this, to that, to this, to that, to this, to that … and on. A colossal velocity, perpetually running, chasing, forcing, pushing. A relentless agitation, with no resting place amongst the discord.
Like the tumultuous waters of an ocean – We can remain at the surface, where the waters are choppy, crashing violently around us, sweeping us under, dominating our discernible experience – Or, we can rest in to, dropping beneath, to witness the calm that pervades the depths of the ocean.
Stillness, is not something to make happen ……… Stillness, is to be yielded in to.
Quietly expecting you, residing at the centre of all things, STILLNESS has always been here ………………….. and will always be, wherever you are now.
