The sweet divine dance of knowing and unknowing ………………. The tender play, as we KNOW, and as we UNKNOW, ALL that IS.
What is it, to not know … ? What is it, to unknow … ?
Indeed, how willing are we really to experience what it feels like to unknow … ?
Without kicking and screaming (internally) … Without grasping to find where we can fix to with what we ‘think’ we know … Without seeking to ‘figure it all out‘ and ‘package it all up‘ … Without resistance to the boundless experience of unknowing.
Honest and humble, how willing are we truly to unknow all that we have seemingly spent so long learning to know … ?
Our vulnerability here has no weakness, with no need of fictitious fearlessness … Our vulnerability here, is the clear willingness to unknow and remember. The courage to move beyond that which is familiar, seemingly known, to that which remembers at the deepest level possible … remembering the constant movement of stillness that IS, and yet is always new.
As we are willing to let go of hardening the perimeters . . . we open in to the divine space where Self is not limited through apparent knowledge, savouring the newness of not knowing, of unknowing, resting in to the calm that IS. We begin to trust in to, to surrender in to the ‘ground‘ beneath. The omnipresent YOU that has never deserted you … The omnipresent YOU that IS, when all that seemingly limits you, as ‘you’, is no more … The omnipresent YOU that has always been, that will always be, that IS … Silently present, awaiting without waiting. As you pause in unknowing, you open in to ALL.
And so, when the unknown rears its perceived ‘ugly head’, can we welcome and befriend it … ? Can we open our arms to embrace (without encircling) the space that is not known … ? And can we allow ourselves to really recognise the true value in unknowing our surface thinking, to instead REALLY know, without words.
