You always have the choice. To trust in to life, or to try constraining life in to looking a certain way.
Sometimes things appear to be a little ‘up in the air‘, a little ‘all over the place‘, more then a little ‘wobbly‘, and we’re not too certain how it’s all going to pan out.
In the past . . . we may have taken control, apparently pushing things in a certain direction. Forced and tight, we dared not let go for fear it might all fall apart — especially as we appeared to be the very thing holding it all together. And then, lo and behold, we got to the desired spot that we’d pushed so urgently towards, and it wasn’t what we really wanted or needed after all. All that pushing and pulling, squeezing and efforting, left us uptight and tired, ‘standing’ somewhere we didn’t really want to be.
Other times we’ve trusted. Easeful and calm, it felt like riding a wave. Never knowing exactly where we were headed, but trusting in to something, knowing that we were aligned with our Spirit. And when we ‘arrived’, we found ourselves at a spot that we could never have planned out in advance. In trusting in to the ALL, everything unfolded just beautifully.
So you know what it feels like to TRUST . . . You know what it feels like to live with EASE . . . You know what it feels like to live in CALM.
Think of a stream. You have a choice to either dam a stream, changing its direction, controlling where you think it should go . . . OR, you let it flow free to find its own way. And whilst you may hear yourself saying “I don’t know what’s going to happen if I let if flow free“, trust that the stream always finds its way to the ocean, eventually. It doesn’t mean you won’t ‘do’ anything, but you will find yourself flowing with and trusting in to an ease in a way that feels far more harmonious and peaceful.
Let the wobbles be there. Rather then attempting to hold on, allow the wobbles to be your reminder to PAUSE, and then TRUST IN TO the stillness within. No matter how ‘wobbly’, no matter how ‘all over the place’, no matter how ‘up in the air’ things feel, the stillness is always with you.
You choose. You can do it the uptight way, attempting to micro manage every last detail, or the easeful way, trusting in to the innate wisdom within. The anchor inside.
Call it ease, call it peace, call it calm, call it stillness — whatever words resonate for you.Trust in to it MORE, and it will guide you on . . . And if that sounds fluffy or weird, just see if you can be willing to be open to the idea. Open to the idea that all that you need will come forward in its own time and way, not in yours.
Be willing to let go of things looking a certain way, and allow yourself to trust in to the stillness within, right Now, MORE.
p.s. And remember, the clue is in the feeling… Uptight and riddled with tensions, or calm and FREE.
