What is it that you are waiting for ??
Observe.
Become aware of what it is that you perceive to be ‘out there‘, to be ‘someplace different‘ …………… Become aware of what it is that you ‘believe you need‘ in order ‘to be whole‘ …………… Become aware of the belief, the idea, that ‘tomorrow holds the answer‘, and see that it is closer than now.
Pause a moment. You are here. Look — See.
+ Can you see that all the while that you have been waiting – waiting for something, waiting for someone – you have been delaying, denying, BEING HERE?
+ Can you see that all the while that you have been waiting, you have been resisting the fullness of now?
+ Can you see that all the while that you have been waiting – waiting for happiness, for love, for joy, for peace (for whatever tickles your fancy) – you have been fictionalising, fantasising that ‘it‘ is somewhere else, and that ‘it‘ holds the keys to your completion?
+ Can you see, that no matter how long you have been waiting, and no matter how many times you have reached the fictional spot you ‘think‘ you are needing …………… that you are still waiting?
So pause.
Here is where you are — notice you are here.
Here — where nothing has ever been waiting, where nothing has ever been lacking. Rest here.
The stories love a tomorrow to wrap themselves around. The stories love a journey to go on to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The stories will have you running after all the tomorrows to come, never once pausing to become aware of the nonsense of all this running, never once pausing to see that ALL that you could ever look for, wait for, is closer even then the end of your nose …………… never once pausing to see that you ‘arrived’ even before you were.
You are whole and complete already — as you always have been.
Like an unquenchable thirst, waiting will always serve up something else for you to wait for. So drop waiting, and just be here.
