WHAT NOW?

23.WHAT_NOW

Forget about the WHAT NEXT? Release the WHAT WAS. Bring your awareness to WHAT NOW

You can live always one step ahead of where you actually are, you can (or at least you think you can)… You can live always dragging around what appears to have gone before, you can (or at least you think you can)… But actually, what is only ever actually going on, where we only ever actually are, is NOW.

When we find ourselves caught between, living FOR a future, or BECAUSE of a past, then we are just that, CAUGHT.

When we find we are doing ‘this‘ in order for ‘that‘ to happen, saying ‘this‘ in order that someone think ‘that’, being ‘this‘ way so ‘that‘……………. When we begin to create and pursue an equation of ‘this‘ = ‘that‘, attempting at each turn to manipulate one component in order to result in the other component, then we have to ask, what are we really doing??

When we find we are masking this moment, fogging it up with what has gone before in judgements, assumptions, stories, habits……………. When we are no longer able to see what is here right now for the thick coating of previous patterning that covers over the truth of this Now, then we have to ask, what are we really doing???

When we steam roller over the present, totally bypassing the Now as we line up past with future, we have to ask, what are we really doing??

Think of it a little like a ‘time sandwich’ that we squeeze ourselves in to, the two slices either side dominating and overtaking the juicy delicious tasty centre, that is NOW. Rather then being caught between, squashed in to linear momentum, can we begin to expand our experience of NowCan we begin to see that Now is actually only ever the thing going on, expansive and newalways Now.

So WHAT NOW?

Ask this again and again, and again and again . . . For you will slip in to the groove of what next. For you will cover over with what was.

What NOW? Ask not urgently rushing forward. Ask not as a way of making up for a perceived lack in the before. Ask this now, for now, without getting lost in to the landscape of stories past and future. Ask this now, for now, releasing yourself of the nonexistent sides. Ask this now, for now, and be willing to listen in to what feels like the thing NOW, in this moment.

Released from the continuum that builds from ‘this’ to ‘that’, from one thing to another. Released from holding on to the perceived sides, the perceived sides of the ‘time sandwich’. How would it be to fully invested in nowwithout dependency on what has gone before, or what is to come? How would it feel to be FULLY invested in now, for the pleasure of Now?

What Now? Nudge yourself back by asking the question.

If you ‘look’ with eyes of the past, or eyes of the future, you will not see what is truly now. Now without any baggage. Now without any fearful gripping. Now in ALL of its magnificence . . . Now for all that is Now.

What Was is not now, and has nothing to do with now, not really.

What is Next hasn’t arrived, and never truly will, not really.

Let your words of Now be not made for some potential future, be not made to manipulate a possible outcome. Let your thoughts of Now be not dictated by what went before, be not clouded by all that seems to have been. Let your movements of Now be not confined by what was, or what might be.

Nudge yourself back. What Now?

For yourself, and for others, let Now be FREE!
